2006 MACBOOK PRO 2.33 GHZ CORE 2 DUO LATEST OS UPGRADE
I use a dual 800Ghz G4 with 1Gb Ram and tried to upgrade to Toast version 8 but realised as I am running OS 10.3.9 that it would not work on my machine. I also have many problems with Spin Doctor altho need it for some of its useful features.

Is anybody at Roxio caring about this? This is the worst software that I ever bought (even twice, because I could not believe it).ġ2" Powerbook, 1.33 GHz G4, 1.25 GB, no extrenal devices I save, force quit, and relaunch this program every 15 seconds! Now I learned from the forum that the problem is still there with Version 3.1. Unbelievable that this error had not been corrected! Exactly the same. I then upgraded to (bought) Spin Doctor 3.0.2.

I had the same problem with Spin Doctor 2: Crashed permanently while handling (splitting, playing) audio files even of normal length (1 side LP record). You might want to also trash any Spin Doctor or Toast plist files from your User>Library>Preferences folder.

At this point I'd reinstall the entire Toast package from the 7.1.2 update download. I'm not sure what's happening with the update problem.

Make sure both the Mac and Spin Doctor are set for the USB audio input. Spin Doctor can act like it is recording, but no file actually gets written so when it tries to read the non-existent file it crashes. I think the reason for the crashing is that Spin Doctor is not set to the same audio input source as is the audio control panel in System Preferences. Should I delete everything and reinstall or just CD Spin doctor. So I can't open the program to look at scratch file location. So I installed an update, now it says I have to have Toast 7 to run this program. When I opened Spin Doctor to work with the file it crashed immediately. The problem wasn't recording, the widget works fine. I am importing via usb and the Roxio Widget version 1.0.1, I was trying to use CD Spin Doctor 3.1t. now fro some question is there a big difference between the 2.33 GHz and the 2.I don't have any other audio applications not includeding itunes and garage band. So here is the deal I am looking to take the plunge and change over to a Mac! I was looking at the MacBook Pro now. Weigh your options and I hoped this helps.

I can buy a external for less cash and more space. My decision with the hd was the same, I felt it wasn't worth that extra cash for a little bit of space. With that couple hundred I could buy more ram. I didn't get any AppleCare cuz I feel its a rip-off (I know, I'll probably have a machine breakdown), but its ridiculous how much buying a "just-in-case" warranty is. I think the money you put into the RAM is better then processor speed, especially if its so insignificant. However, I put in another stick of RAM to be able to access more apps at once. I dwelled over it a lot and came to the conclusion (asking friends and forums) 2.16 and 2.33 isn't that much difference but shelling out unneeded money. I was in your position a week or two ago. Or any other combo you recommend THANK YOU VERY MUCH MacBook Pro 15-inch Glossy Widescreen Display now fro some question is there a big difference between the 2.33 GHz and the 2.16GHz? Is there a big difference between 1GB Memmory and 2GB memory? 120GB hard drive and a 160 GB hard drive? and finally graphics with 128MB SDRAM and the graphics with 128MB SDRAM
